Forever home wanted: Meet Johnnie!

This handsome pup is all fun and games with an endless amount of energy. At just a year old, he is already learning some manners from his foster who has mentioned that he will do best with a super active family (runners, hikers, etc) or with a family who has another large confident dog.

While Johnnie is dog friendly, he would do best with confident dogs his size or bigger as he can play a little rough. Prior to joining his foster home - it’s possible that Johnnie had never had training or even played with another dog before as he has a hard time listening to the cues. But his foster family is teaching him to do things on his own when the others don’t want to play with him. 

Next to dogs, he absolutely loves people. He will allow you to touch anything and play with his paws without an issue; while even giving you a paw and a few kisses. Being a puppy himself, he has a tendency to become jumpy and mouthy when overstimulated with excitement. Due to this, we believe he would do best in a home with older, considerate kids. 

On top of his basic obedience skills that Johnnie is working on; he’s already potty trained (given that his people see his cues of needing to go out), crate trained, loves to play with toys, and most of all he’s eager to please.
