Foster or forever home wanted….Meet Dori, a very special girl.

Dori came to the rescue recently so we are still getting to know her. Dori came to us when they were clearing out a homeless encampment, there were about 20 dogs in the area. She surprised us today February 21st, during her vet exam we discovered she’s pregnant with what appears to be about 5 puppies due in the next 30-40 days! Dori is very fortunate she came into rescue where she can safely deliver her babies and we can find them all loving forever homes. So many times, dogs in this environment are used as breeding machines for people to make a quick buck. Dori will never have to experience that. This will be her last litter. During her examination, they also discovered she had been shot with a BB gun, another hazard of life on the streets. 

Dori is good with dogs and people. Everyone that’s had the opportunity to work with her loves her. Be on the lookout for more updates on Dori as we learn more about her.
