My name is Oscar.

Foster or Forever Home Wanted! Meet Oscar!

Some dogs come to us under heartbreaking circumstances, and Oscar is one of them. At just 5 months old, this sweet boy was surrendered to be euthanized after being attacked by his littermate. (Did you know? Littermate Syndrome can cause intense sibling rivalry, leading to fear, anxiety, and even aggression between dogs raised together.)

But Oscar’s story wasn’t meant to end there. A quick name change, some much-needed medical care (including staples for his wounds) and now this handsome pup is ready for his second chance at life!

Right now, Oscar is understandably fearful around other dogs, so he’s looking for a home where he can build his confidence. He’d do best as an only dog or with an adopter experienced in helping nervous pups blossom. What he lacks in confidence, he makes up for in love—this boy just needs someone to show him the world isn’t so scary.

If you’re ready to be the person who changes Oscar’s life, apply to foster or adopt him today at www.labradorsandfriends.org. Oscar is located in Southern California and waiting for his forever home!
