Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue

My name is Willow.

Forever home wanted! Meet Willow. Willow came to us a couple of months ago as a throw away dog, dumped in a field in the Bakersfield area. No one really knows how long she was there. Luckily for her, she was spotted by some farm workers who let some good Samaritans know she looked like she may be pregnant. Sure enough, they searched through darkness to find her where she had dug a hole under some wood pallets and gave birth to 13 puppies!

A wonderful person fostered the family until we could move them south and get them into homes. We still have one of her puppies, Rio, also looking for a home. But now, after all Willow has been through, she deserves to have a forever family to show her how great life can be. Willow is super loving and playful. She is currently fostered with three other large dogs and her puppy. She can be a little skittish when she first meets new people, but she warms up fast. We are working on building her confidence and she is coming around beautifully. She loves her walks and knows what the leash means when she sees it!

If Willow sounds like a dog you'd be interested in meeting, please fill out an application at www.labradorsandfriends.org. Willow is located in Southern California.
