Labradors and Friends would like to introduce you to Luna! Luna joined us as an owner surrender under a little different circumstance. Luna arrived at the high kill SEAACA shelter on January 4th as a stray. It didn't take long for her to get sick and at an overcrowded shelter, that's not good.
Lucky for Luna, a young woman saw her and couldn't bear the thought of this beautiful puppy losing her life due to an upper respiratory infection, so she adopted her. At her own expense, she took Luna to the vet and treated her for her illness and saw to it she fully recovered and is now a happy, healthy puppy!
Luna's adopter never intended keeping her as she already had two dogs and a toddler in an apartment. We were more than happy to take Luna into the rescue and promised to find her a loving forever home.
If Luna sounds like a pup you'd be interested in meeting, please fill out an application at www.labradorsandfriends.org. Luna is located in Southern California.
