My name is Allie.

Forever home wanted!!!! Meet Allie!!!

We’ll never understand how a dog like Allie winds up at a shelter and then her “family” doesn’t reclaim her.  At the shelter she quickly became a volunteer favorite, but like all dogs at shelters now, she was immediately at risk solely due to space needs at the shelter.  When we heard about Allie we couldn’t say “no,” and with the help of a foster, we were able to rescue this special girl.  Allie is now safe with us, rocking her foster home and looking for a FOREVER home.  She is a happy, outgoing, 75-pound Labby mix.  The shelter guesstimated her age to be 8 years old, but we think she may be at least a year or two younger, as she has lots of energy!  She loves running in the backyard searching for lizards and other critters to chase.  She really enjoys her daily walks through the neighborhood, but she can kick back and relax for an evening of Netflix, too.  Allie is housebroken, walks well on a leash, knows some basic commands, is up for adventures, rides well in the car, and loves all people.  If our special girl Allie sounds like the right dog for your family, email dogs@labradorsandfriends.org or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org  Allie is located in Southern California.
