My name is Honey.

Foster or Forever home wanted!!!! Meet Honey!!!

We’ll never understand how a dog like Honey winds up as a stray at a rural shelter and then her “family” doesn’t reclaim her.  At the shelter she quickly became a volunteer favorite. But like all dogs at shelters now, she was quickly at risk solely due to the time she had been at the shelter (a mere few weeks).  When we heard about Honey we couldn’t say “no”.  Honey is safe with us and looking for a Foster or better yet Forever home.  Honey is a 60 pound 1-2 year old lab mix that appears to be house broken, loves to play with toys, loves all people and dogs and enjoys cuddling with her humans the most.  Like all young dogs, Honey will need a family committed to giving her training, structure and daily exercise to help her become the best dog possible.  If Honey sounds like the right dog for your family, email dogs@labradorsandfriends.org or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org  Honey is located in Southern California
