Forever Home wanted!!!! Meet Oliver the Puppy!!!!!!!!!

Oliver is our second broken bone puppy in less than a week.  His surgery was 6/12/24 and he is recovering well.  Oliver will need to be on strict crate rest for approximately 30 days (circa 7/12/24).  Oliver is looking for an adopter comfortable with supporting him during his medical recovery. Oliver is a four month old yellow lab who will likely grow to be about 60 pounds.  Despite everything he’s been through, Oliver loves all people and dogs and can’t wait to be a regular puppy again.  

Ollie is a very smart, loving boy. He knows sit and is doing great with his house training. He sleeps in his crate overnight about 9 hours (with a pre-emptive bathroom break sprinkled in). He is able to walk out back to go to the bathroom, and has to remain calm the rest of the time. He is able to walk around a small area inside, as long as it is controlled and calm. He isn’t afraid of loud noises (blender/trash trucks) and greets everything with a curious and friendly nature. He has exposure to kids and has done well around them. He is food motivated and will learn very quickly. He enjoys food puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and frozen treat toys to keep him calm but stimulated.
